Privacy notice
This notice explains how Signal Desk handles information during its public beta.
What we collect
- Google account email, display name and sign-in timestamps for access control.
- Saved subjects, watchlists, portfolio tickers, layout preferences and strategy notes you choose to enter.
- Stories, source links, market timestamps, service-health events and security logs needed to operate the desk.
What we do not need
Do not submit broker passwords, trading credentials, bank details, account balances, quantities, purchase prices or other financial secrets. Signal Desk does not need them.
Why we use information
We use it to authenticate users, save requested preferences, provide the editorial service, investigate abuse and maintain security. We do not sell personal information or use it to provide personalised investment advice.
Services and retention
Information may be processed in the application database and storage, by Google for sign-in, by public-data providers for market reporting, and by AI services for source-grounded editorial enrichment. Do not place personal information in story or strategy fields. Records are retained only as long as needed for these purposes.
Your requests
For access, correction or deletion requests, contact the Signal Desk team with the Google account used for sign-in and the specific record concerned. We may verify identity before acting. We will not ask for passwords or trading credentials.
Changes and incidents
We will update this notice when data practices change. Report suspected privacy or security incidents promptly through the corrections and support page.
